Field Hockey Players Association

About

The primary role of the Association is to act as the collective bargaining unit on behalf of the players, but also assists and manages in areas such as marketing, compensation and communications. Some of the key areas of support and management the Association provides are:

• Negotiating terms of the player agreements
• Player Compensation
• Professional development programs

The Association is a driving force behind men’s hockey competition in Eastern Canada providing athletes with quality competition and access to training. The Association also plays a key role in ensuring the athletes are following the player agreements.

On the business side, the Association works closely with the corporate community on partnerships.

The Advisory Board is comprised of representatives from each team in the Pro League as well as advisory roles to support the Association.
